Good afternoon my scattered classmates. This is Wahida posting.

Let's begin from friday, May, 28, 2010:

We had a sub- Ms. Woo (I believe). With her help we corrected the chapter 23 Study Guide. If you need the answers I will be more than happy to lend to mine.
Next we corrected Chapter 35: Electric Circuits- COMPOUND CIRCUITS. The answers are as follows:
1. 1/5 +1/5 =2/5
=5/2
=2.5 ohms
2. 1/8 + 1/8 =2/8
=8/2
=4ohms
3a. 1 ohm+1 ohm=2 ohms → 1/2+1/2=1

3 b. 1 ohm

Naturally, we went over the questions assigned on Friday. so here are the answers:

13. 6V

14a. 8.89 ohms b. 4.5A c. 2.5A
16. a. 2A b. 3A c. 15A d. yes it will.
By the way question 17 is or was to be handed in today. you may still be able to do if you haven't already.

Also went through a Transparency Worksheet today.
Also we got a Study Guide Booklet and a sheet- SERIES AND PARALLEL ELEMENTS.
